About the Role
Avatar New Energy Materials Co. Limited is a pioneering force in Nigeria's booming mining sector, specializing in the sustainable extraction and processing of lithium. As we drive the global transition toward renewable energy, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Welder to join our dynamic technical team and support our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision gas welding and electrical arc welding on a wide variety of metals and heavy-duty machinery parts.
- Weld, fabricate, and repair essential components of heavy-duty mining and mineral processing equipment, including crushers, ball mills, and slurry pumps.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as gas welding torches, electrical welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools to prepare, weld, and finish metal components to the highest standard.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal working conditions and operational safety.
- Ensure all fabrication and repair tasks comply strictly with industry standards for structural strength, quality, and precision.
- Proven professional experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or similar role within an industrial or heavy-duty operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in gas-cutting, gas welding, and electrical arc welding techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate, weld, and repair heavy machinery and structural metal components used in mining operations.
