About the Role
Pershing Hills Elementary has been at the forefront of early childhood education as a leading Montessori school in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria since 2019. We are dedicated to raising inquisitive, independent children, helping them achieve their ambitions and preparing them for a future filled with diverse opportunities. We are currently looking for a talented, full-time on-site Teacher to deliver exceptional classroom instruction and inspire our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Design, plan, and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Montessori and elementary education best practices.
- Deliver effective classroom instruction that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
- Provide personalized academic and emotional support to help students reach their full potential.
- Maintain regular, constructive communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Participate actively in school-wide professional development, training sessions, and collaborative staff meetings.
- A degree in Education or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant teaching certifications and a strong understanding of early childhood or elementary education pedagogy.
- Proven experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and delivering impactful instruction.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage students and build positive relationships with parents.
- Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for nurturing child development.
