Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Government and Civic Education to secondary school students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active student participation.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record student academic progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Participate actively in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Instill strong moral values, civic responsibility, and leadership qualities in all students.
- Possession of a B.Sc or B.Ed Degree in Political Science, Social Studies, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Government and Civic Education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated passion for youth development and modern pedagogical approaches.
