UNOCASA Limited, a premier provider of business solutions and HR consultancy, is seeking an exceptional Strategy & Operations Excellence Manager to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and day-on-day operational execution, championing a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and organizational accountability across asset-intensive industries.
Key Responsibilities- Translate high-level business strategy into measurable action plans, robust KPIs, and actionable deliverables.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives to systematically eliminate process waste and reduce inefficiencies.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to optimize workflow processes.
- Develop comprehensive performance dashboards and strengthen data-driven decision-making frameworks.
- Establish clear accountability structures and rigorous performance review processes across departments.
- Design and implement standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive operational playbooks.
- Coach department managers and cross-functional teams on operational excellence and performance management best practices.
- Identify operational bottlenecks proactively and implement sustainable, long-term process improvements.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management or interim executive capacity.
- Extensive and demonstrable experience within EPC, construction, or asset-intensive operational environments.
- Proven track record in successful strategy execution, performance management, and continuous process improvement.
- Deep working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis principles.
- Expertise in establishing KPI frameworks, Balanced Scorecards, and SMART objective methodologies.
- High proficiency in Business Intelligence dashboarding tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, PMP, or PRINCE2 are strongly preferred.
