About the Role
Bons Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-quality bakery materials, food ingredients, breakfast cereals, and beverages since 1989, is looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to join our dynamic team in Ogun State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the seamless flow of our supply chain by ensuring that all warehouse operations are conducted with precision, safety, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with our production and accounting teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support our commitment to delivering world-class products to our customers across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, offload, and thoroughly inspect all incoming goods and raw materials for accuracy, quantity, and quality standards.
- Record, update, and reconcile inventory data accurately using both manual ledgers and computerized inventory management systems.
- Organize and store items safely, systematically, and logically within the warehouse to prevent damage and optimize space.
- Issue materials and finished products promptly based on approved requisitions and company operational procedures.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and audits to minimize discrepancies and ensure absolute inventory integrity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment in compliance with company health and safety regulations.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, or a related field.
- Demonstrated accounting experience is required to handle stock valuation and reconciliation tasks effectively.
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience working as a storekeeper, warehouse officer, or inventory controller.
- Strong organizational, numerical, and meticulous record-keeping skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in using computer systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
