About the Role
Owolabi University is a dynamic, newly established private institution located in Osun State, Nigeria, licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are dedicated to providing world-class higher education and are currently expanding our Faculty of Allied and Health Science. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals at our take-off site in Osogbo.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Physiotherapy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and academic progress.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to academic leadership within the department.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and institutional committee work.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a culture of research excellence and academic integrity.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Physiotherapy or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals within the field of study.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic leadership and relevant administrative experience in a university setting.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria is required.
