Owolabi University is a newly established private university located in Oke-Ila Orangun, Osun State, and currently operating from its take-off site in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in June 2026, our institution is dedicated to widening access to quality higher education and preparing graduates for a fast-changing world. We are currently seeking a dynamic and academically distinguished Senior Lecturer in Cybersecurity to join our esteemed Faculty of Science and Computing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in cybersecurity and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental administration.
- Mentor students and participate in academic advising and career guidance.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Possess a PhD Degree from a reputable university in Cybersecurity or a closely related computing discipline.
- Demonstrate clear evidence of academic leadership and administrative competence.
- Provide a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Possess at least 6 years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
