About the Role
Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, the country's leading producer of flexible polyurethane foam and quality household products, is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our safety operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining a secure environment for our staff, visitors, and company assets across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises, gates, and perimeter areas to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
- Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and storage facilities to ensure complete safety and security.
- Control the movement of visitors, employees, and delivery vehicles by verifying credentials and maintaining accurate logs.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarm panels, and safety equipment, promptly reporting any hazards or suspicious activities.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, disturbances, or safety breaches and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce company safety regulations, health guidelines, and security policies consistently across the site.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Security Guard, preferably within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Strong observation skills, high level of integrity, and physical fitness to handle demanding security duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
