About the Role
Excel and Grace Consulting, a premier Nigerian business and financial advisory firm, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead our construction and infrastructure projects. In this vital role, you will be responsible for driving project success from mobilization to handover, ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Plan and mobilize comprehensive project resources, including equipment, labor, materials, and site setups.
- Review engineering drawings, project specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to establish accurate project baselines.
- Oversee daily site operations, providing effective leadership and supervision to site engineers, foremen, and construction workers.
- Monitor project progress against master schedules, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing timely corrective actions.
- Manage project financial performance, controlling costs and reporting regularly on budget variances.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance across all active sites and conduct thorough incident investigations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, stakeholders, and upper management, delivering comprehensive progress reports.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of professional construction experience, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years specifically in a project management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience successfully delivering complex projects within the oil and gas sector.
- Mandatory COREN registration; possession of a PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations, site safety protocols, and quality assurance frameworks.
