About the Role
Ellasot Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable manufacturing organization for a skilled and dedicated Production Machine Operator to oversee key production functions. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and consistent manufacturing processes that meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established standard operating procedures and production schedules.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines to meet exact production specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor continuous machine performance and inspect both raw materials and finished products for defects.
- Conduct routine machine cleaning, basic preventive maintenance, and promptly troubleshoot operational faults.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily production output, machine performance, downtime, and material usage.
- Adhere strictly to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Minimize material wastage and collaborate effectively with production supervisors and maintenance technicians.
- Minimum of an OND, technical certificate, or relevant vocational qualification.
- Previous hands-on experience operating industrial or production machinery is highly advantageous.
- Basic understanding of mechanical operations, manufacturing workflows, and equipment safety.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions.
- Physical fitness required to perform demanding production floor duties and stand for extended periods.
