About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of Direct Expansion (DX) air-conditioning systems within our client's facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise with split, cassette, and ducted AC systems, ensuring optimal climate control and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Install, service, maintain, and repair split, cassette, and ducted AC systems according to industry standards.
- Carry out comprehensive preventive maintenance and routine cleaning of various air-conditioning units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot cooling, electrical, refrigeration, and control-system faults efficiently.
- Check and accurately record refrigerant pressure, voltage, current, and temperature readings.
- Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and system evacuation procedures safely.
- Execute copper pipe installation, brazing, repair, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
- Replace and repair faulty compressors, fan motors, PCBs, sensors, capacitors, and other essential AC components.
- Inspect, clean, and repair condensate drainage systems to prevent water damage and blockages.
- Minimum of a Technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a closely related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven, hands-on experience working with DX air-conditioning systems in commercial, residential, or facility environments.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration fault-diagnosis skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing basic HVAC tools and testing instruments, such as manifold gauges, multimeters, and clamp meters.
- Prior experience with VRV/VRF systems will be considered a strong added advantage.
