About the Role
Owolabi University is a newly established private university located in Oke-Ila Orangun, Osun State, operating from its take-off site in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) on June 29, 2026, the institution is dedicated to widening access to quality higher education and preparing globally competitive graduates. We are currently seeking a dynamic and academically driven Lecturer II to join our esteemed Faculty of Allied and Health Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Develop and update course curricula in line with NUC standards and modern industry practices.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and mentor students academically and professionally.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Contribute to community engagement and institutional accreditation processes.
- Possess a PhD Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Demonstrate post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Provide verifiable evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
