About the Role
Hyde Energy Limited is a dynamic and reliable global energy trading company with an extensive downstream network, committed to delivering high-quality products and services across the energy sector. We are currently looking for a meticulous and driven Lead Mechanical Inspector (Onshore) to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our rigorous quality assurance standards, ensuring that all onshore fabrication and related operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with international engineering codes and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and oversee all onshore fabrication activities to guarantee adherence to engineering designs and quality benchmarks.
- Witness critical quality checks including welding, NDT, PWHT, coating, pressure testing, and dimensional control.
- Conduct thorough material inspections, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary, and accurately sign off Inspection Test Records (ITRs).
- Prepare comprehensive daily inspection and QAQC reports for project stakeholders and management.
- Enforce strong Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) practices across all operational sites with minimal supervision.
- Possession of a valid BOSIET, OSP, and offshore medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP III, NDT Level II, or CSWIP Plant Inspection.
- Working knowledge and practical application of ISO, API, DNV, and ASME codes.
