We are currently recruiting a dedicated and technically driven Junior Service Engineer (HVAC) to join our client's expanding technical team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting HVAC installation, routine maintenance, diagnostics, and commissioning activities while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Support the comprehensive installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of various HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnose complex equipment faults accurately and assist senior engineers in implementing effective technical solutions.
- Supervise field technicians during maintenance, repairs, and commissioning activities to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits to provide hands-on technical support and swiftly resolve equipment-related issues.
- Monitor ongoing service activities to guarantee superior workmanship, strict safety compliance, and timely project completion.
- Prepare detailed technical reports regarding service activities, equipment faults, and completed repairs.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and external customers to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all maintenance logs, service requests, and inventory usage.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience in HVAC, air-conditioning, or related technical field services.
- Solid foundational knowledge of HVAC installation, preventive maintenance, systematic troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
- Demonstrated ability to identify equipment faults and collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges.
- Prior experience or a strong aptitude for supervising technicians during active field service operations.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to various project sites across Nigeria as required by operational needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel, for reporting and documentation.
