About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping and laundry operations. In this vital role, you will ensure exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort across all rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate combines hands-on hospitality expertise with outstanding leadership and meticulous attention to detail to elevate our guest satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and corridors to maintain superior quality standards.
- Supervise housekeeping attendants and laundry personnel, managing duty rosters, shift coordination, and task allocations.
- Conduct thorough room inspections to guarantee hygiene, presentation, and timely room releases for arriving guests.
- Manage inventory levels for linen, towels, guest amenities, cleaning chemicals, and equipment, ensuring minimal wastage.
- Collaborate closely with the front office and maintenance departments to resolve guest requests and facility defects promptly.
- Train and mentor staff on effective cleaning methods, chemical safety, equipment handling, and customer service excellence.
- Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity within a hotel environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern housekeeping processes, laundry management, and strict hygiene compliance.
- Strong proficiency in inventory control, departmental cost management, and staffing roster administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
