About the Role
Aldelia Limited is seeking a strategic and experienced FTTX Planning & Rollout Manager to lead the planning, design, and deployment of next-generation fibre infrastructure across Ibadan, Nigeria. This is a vital leadership opportunity for a telecommunications professional who combines deep expertise in FTTX network design, GIS planning, geomarketing, and large-scale infrastructure execution to drive high-speed broadband expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end FTTX planning and rollout activities across Ibadan to expand broadband connectivity.
- Develop GIS-based network designs, route plans, and scalable GPON/XGS-PON fibre architectures and outside plant infrastructure.
- Build advanced geomarketing models to identify high-potential neighbourhoods and maximise overall network return on investment.
- Manage civil construction partners, utility providers, and government agencies to drive rollout delivery against strict milestones.
- Engage effectively with community stakeholders and local regulatory bodies within the Nigerian telecommunications landscape.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary teams including GIS analysts, network planners, and survey teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geography, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in FTTX network planning and deployment.
- Proven technical proficiency with ArcGIS, QGIS, GPON/XGS-PON network design, and OSP engineering principles.
- Strong project management, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian telecoms landscape and regulatory environment is highly desirable.
