We are currently seeking a dedicated and observant Field Verification Officer to join our team in Ahoada and Ogoni, Rivers State, to ensure the accuracy of merchant and loan applicant information.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct physical visits to verify merchant and customer locations within assigned regions.
- Confirm the authenticity of business operations and validate the accuracy of information provided during loan applications.
- Document findings thoroughly and submit accurate, timely verification reports to internal teams.
- Support the loan processing lifecycle by meeting strict verification timelines.
- Investigate discrepancies and escalate suspicious findings immediately in line with operational standards.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in a relevant discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in field verification, loan recovery, or direct sales within a fintech company or commercial bank.
- Must currently reside in or be very familiar with Ahoada or Ogoni, Rivers State.
- High willingness and physical stamina to work extensively in the field.
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills with a strict attention to detail.
