About the Role
LAJ Aquaculture & Farmacology is a dynamic agricultural organization dedicated to sustainable fish farming and innovative farmaceutical solutions. We are looking for an ambitious, creative, and sales-oriented Digital Content, Publishing & Sales Officer to manage online content distribution, video production, and lead generation. In this role, you will help transform our daily aquaculture operations into engaging social media content that attracts customers and drives measurable business revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Film and document daily farm operations, fish feeding, grading, harvesting, and deliveries across our Lafia grow-out facilities (40%).
- Edit high-quality short and long-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube (60%).
- Develop scripts, educational posts, and promotional campaigns to market table-size catfish, fingerlings, and training programs.
- Manage social media publishing schedules, respond to customer enquiries, and monitor digital engagement metrics.
- Generate and nurture online leads, maintain a digital sales pipeline, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Collaborate with the Kaduna-based content team and prepare weekly and monthly commercial performance reports.
- OND, HND, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience in Digital Marketing, Media, Communications, or related fields.
- Demonstrable experience with video editing tools such as CapCut or Canva, and smartphone videography.
- Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms and WhatsApp Business.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and commercial awareness with a drive to meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with digital sales pipelines, e-commerce, or agricultural marketing is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to reside at the company's Lafia farm location (free on-site accommodation provided).
