In this hybrid role focusing on Credit and Risk, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients navigating loan applications, credit facilities, and repayment schedules. You will play a crucial part in balancing exceptional customer service delivery with rigorous risk mitigation, ensuring our operations remain secure while providing a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints regarding credit facilities, loan applications, and repayments promptly and professionally.
- Monitor overdue accounts and execute effective follow-up strategies for loan recoveries in line with company guidelines.
- Identify potential credit risks, financial irregularities, and fraudulent activities to protect the organization and its clients.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and transaction histories in the database.
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational credit and risk management policies during all customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal financial and risk teams to escalate complex cases and improve service delivery processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customer service, credit control, risk management, or loan recovery within the financial sector or a BPO environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risk indicators and resolve conflicts amicably.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and financial databases.
