About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Credit Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our financial services, managing customer relationships, and ensuring a healthy loan portfolio while working closely with clients in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Market daily loan products to prospective customers through field marketing and group sensitization.
- Register new clients, collect proper documentation, and explain loan terms and repayment schedules.
- Conduct thorough field verification of clients, their businesses, and guarantors to assess creditworthiness.
- Process loan applications, prepare credit files, and disburse approved loans in line with company policies.
- Execute daily loan collections, maintain accurate repayment records, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Meet assigned performance targets while maintaining a healthy and sustainable loan portfolio.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or Field Officer.
- Minimum of an OND qualification; an HND or B.Sc. degree will be an added advantage.
- Strong marketing, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of honesty, responsibility, and customer orientation.
- Applicants residing in or around Sango Ota or Ifo will be given strong preference.
