About the Role
Fadac Resources is partnering with a dynamic client to recruit a detail-oriented and analytical Call Over Officer. In this role, you will conduct independent call-over reviews and transactional checks across financial and operational processes to ensure complete accuracy, data integrity, and strict adherence to internal audit policies and regulatory standards in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly call-over reviews of financial and operational transactions across retail, commercial, and supply business units.
- Verify the accuracy of all transaction documentation including invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Review bank reconciliation statements, ensuring all reconciling items are valid, fully supported, and resolved promptly.
- Verify cash collection, banking, and cash-handling records at retail stations, depots, and commercial offices.
- Review sales transactions, customer receipts, inventory records, stock movements, and payroll for statutory compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly call-over reports highlighting errors, irregularities, and control weaknesses.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA (at least part-qualified) is highly preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in internal audit, internal control, financial accounting, or transaction verification.
- Demonstrated expertise in call-over reviews, bank reconciliations, and downstream oil and gas sector operations.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
