About the Role
Proforce Limited is a globally recognized total defence solution provider specializing in armoured vehicles and personal protection. We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our manufacturing and assembly plant located in Ode Remo, Ogun State. In this vital role, you will ensure that all automotive electrical and electronic systems are installed, diagnosed, and maintained to the highest engineering standards, supporting our mission of delivering confidence in protective mobility across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair advanced automotive electrical and electronic systems during vehicle manufacturing and assembly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults in vehicle wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, sensors, and electronic control units.
- Utilize diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and specialized electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve performance issues efficiently.
- Read and accurately interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineers, Production Technicians, Auto Mechanics, and Quality Control personnel to prevent production delays.
- Conduct rigorous routine checks and functional tests to ensure compliance with strict manufacturing and safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities while keeping tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, Trade Test Certificate, or a recognized qualification from a Technical College in Automotive Electrical Technology.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical work, preferably within automobile manufacturing or heavy engineering workshops.
- Strong practical knowledge of vehicle wiring, electrical circuits, and electronic control systems.
- Proven ability to read automotive electrical diagrams and use modern diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
