About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor. This temporary role is based in Nguru, Yobe State, and plays a crucial part in maintaining the credibility and smooth administration of our tertiary-level assessments. We are looking for a trustworthy professional committed to upholding academic standards during our upcoming examination periods.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations seamlessly to ensure a smooth testing experience for all students.
- Ensure strict adherence to university examination rules, guidelines, and protocols throughout the session.
- Supervise the examination hall actively to prevent any form of malpractice or academic dishonesty.
- Assist in the efficient distribution, management, and collection of all examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive, accurate reports on exam conduct and attendance to the university authorities.
- Possession of a minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution.
- Prior demonstrable experience in examination supervision or proctoring within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Nguru, Yobe State, to facilitate easy and prompt reporting to the examination center.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based applications and CBT software.
- Exceptional organizational, observational, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated high level of personal integrity, accountability, and strong attention to duty.
