About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor for our upcoming assessment period in Bida, Niger State. In this vital temporary role, you will uphold the academic standards of our institution by overseeing computer-based testing (CBT) and ensuring a seamless, fair, and secure examination environment for all distance learning students.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Testing (CBT) sessions to ensure a seamless technical and operational process for candidates.
- Enforce strict adherence to university examination rules, policies, and guidelines throughout the assessment period.
- Actively supervise the conduct of examinations to proactively prevent, detect, and report any forms of academic malpractice.
- Assist in the efficient distribution, management, and collection of relevant examination materials and attendance records.
- Compile and submit comprehensive incident and conduct reports to the university administration after each examination session.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited and recognized tertiary institution with relevant academic or administrative experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, invigilation, or proctoring within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Bida, Niger State, or immediate environs.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based applications and CBT software platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with a calm demeanor under pressure.
