About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor for our upcoming assessment exercises in Kogi-Lokoja. In this crucial temporary role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding academic standards by ensuring that all university examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and in strict compliance with institutional guidelines. We are looking for responsible professionals who possess strong digital literacy and a commitment to maintaining a secure, cheat-free testing environment for our distance learning students.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and traditional examinations to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure strict adherence to all university examination rules, regulations, and guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise the conduct of examinations actively to prevent and address any forms of academic malpractice.
- Assist efficiently in the secure distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive incident and conduct reports to the university administration after each session.
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, proctoring, or invigilation within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Lokoja, Kogi State, with familiarity with the local academic terrain.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based testing platforms and software.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
