About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja, Nigeria, is seeking a reliable and diligent Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor to join our team in Hadejia, Jigawa State. In this vital temporary role, you will play an essential part in upholding academic standards by overseeing computer-based testing and ensuring that all examinations are conducted smoothly, fairly, and in strict compliance with institutional guidelines. We are looking for an experienced academic professional currently residing in Hadejia who demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities, uncompromised integrity, and a strong commitment to academic excellence in tertiary education.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations to ensure a seamless technical and operational process.
- Ensure strict adherence to all university examination rules, policies, and guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise and actively monitor the conduct of examinations to prevent any form of malpractice.
- Assist efficiently in the distribution, organization, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive, accurate reports on the conduct and outcome of each examination session.
- Possession of a minimum of a Master Degree from a recognized and accredited institution with relevant academic or technical experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision or proctoring within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Hadejia, Jigawa State.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in operating web-based platforms and CBT systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- A high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and strict attention to duty.
