About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor for our Dutse study center in Jigawa State. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining academic standards, ensuring a smooth examination process, and upholding the integrity of our assessment procedures for our esteemed students.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations to ensure seamless technical and operational delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to all institutional examination rules, regulations, and guidelines by candidates.
- Supervise and actively monitor the conduct of examinations to proactively prevent malpractice or irregularities.
- Assist efficiently in the distribution, coordination, and collection of relevant examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive incident and conduct reports to the university administration after each session.
- Must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, proctoring, or invigilation within a tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Dutse, Jigawa State, or immediate environs.
- Proficient computer and web operating skills, specifically with CBT platforms and digital tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Unquestionable integrity, high ethical standards, and meticulous attention to duty.
