About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Abuja, Nigeria, is looking for a detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor. In this crucial role based in Ekiti, you will play a vital part in upholding the credibility of our academic evaluations by ensuring that all computer-based tests (CBT) are conducted smoothly, fairly, and in strict compliance with university policies. We are searching for trustworthy professionals who can maintain order, provide technical assistance where needed, and guarantee a seamless assessment experience for our distance learning students.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring computer-based testing (CBT) environments to ensure a seamless examination process.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all university examination rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Supervising the conduct of candidates actively to prevent any form of examination malpractice.
- Assisting in the efficient distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compiling and submitting comprehensive incident and completion reports on exam conduct to management.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with relevant academic or administrative experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision or proctoring within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Ekiti State.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based applications and CBT software.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
