About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor / Supervisor for our upcoming assessment cycle in Biu, Borno State. In this vital temporary role, you will uphold academic integrity and ensure a smooth, transparent examination process for our distance-learning students.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and traditional examinations to ensure a seamless assessment process.
- Enforce strict adherence to university examination rules, guidelines, and anti-malpractice policies.
- Supervise candidates actively, preventing any form of academic dishonesty during the sessions.
- Assist efficiently in the secure distribution, management, and collection of examination materials.
- Compile and submit comprehensive reports detailing the conduct and outcome of examinations to management.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with relevant academic or administrative experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision or proctoring within a tertiary institution.
- Must currently reside in Biu, Borno State, or the immediate environs.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based examination platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, observational, and time-management skills.
