Key Responsibilities- Assist in the formulation and implementation of urban and regional master plans for towns and cities across Katsina State.
- Evaluate building plans and land use applications to ensure compliance with state zoning laws and planning regulations.
- Conduct physical surveys, data collection, and spatial analysis for community development projects.
- Collaborate with local government authorities and stakeholders to resolve land use conflicts and enforce development controls.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on urban development trends, environmental assessments, and infrastructure needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Must be fully registrable with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC).
- Must possess an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Must be an indigene of Katsina State, aged between 18 and 49 years.
- Must successfully pass the mandatory merit-based recruitment test.
- Secure pensionable employment within the Katsina State Civil Service on Grade Level 08.
