About the Role
Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (IPMC) is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Specialist - Regulatory Compliance & Standards Advisory to join our elite team of professional consultants. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping our clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes across the oil and gas, infrastructure, and building industries in Nigeria. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all operations align seamlessly with national statutory frameworks and international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate applicable statutory and regulatory requirements for corporate, industrial, and infrastructure engagements.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance obligations matrices and detailed regulatory risk assessments.
- Review project-related legal requirements, operating permits, and contractual compliance obligations.
- Interpret relevant national regulations and international standards to guide operational teams.
- Support regulatory due diligence, standards alignment, and continuous compliance improvement programmes.
- Advise internal stakeholders and clients on contractual, confidentiality, and information-governance considerations.
- Possession of an LL.B and B.L. for legal advisory appointments, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory, corporate, environmental, infrastructure, or compliance advisory.
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting Nigerian national regulations and relevant international industry standards.
