About the Role
Proten is recruiting a dynamic and detail-oriented Site Coordinator to manage luxury woodwork, bespoke joinery, and high-end interior fit-out projects on behalf of our client. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising on-site execution and ensuring custom installations meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and client satisfaction across various residential and commercial sites in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily site activities and supervise the precise installation of custom woodwork, luxury kitchens, walk-in wardrobes, and bespoke joinery.
- Interpret and work accurately with shop drawings, production blueprints, and complex technical specifications.
- Ensure all site installations comply with approved project designs, regulatory guidelines, and strict quality assurance benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with internal store and production teams to guarantee the timely delivery and availability of construction materials.
- Develop installation schedules, allocate subcontractors effectively, and proactively monitor overall site progress.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and installation challenges swiftly to minimize any potential project delays.
- Liaise professionally with clients, architects, consultants, and multi-disciplinary contractors for seamless project execution.
- Manage material usage, minimize waste, and enforce comprehensive health, safety, and environmental procedures on-site.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Wood Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in luxury woodwork, custom joinery, or high-end interior fit-out execution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of joinery manufacturing, installation processes, and familiarity with premium hardware brands like Blum and Hettich.
- Exceptional ability to read, interpret, and execute detailed shop drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
