About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior HR Manager to lead our human resources department in Ibadan, Oyo State. In this pivotal role, you will oversee full-spectrum HR operations, align workforce strategies with business objectives, and foster a high-performance culture within a diverse manufacturing and industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning for operational and corporate roles.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory obligations including PAYE, pension, NSITF, ITF, and NHF.
- Oversee performance management systems, employee appraisals, training, and talent development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance on compensation, benefits, and payroll inputs while monitoring key HR metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional certification from CIPM, CIPD, or a recognized equivalent body.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Prior working experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agro-processing, or food production industries is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in Nigerian labour laws, statutory compliance, and organizational development.
