About the Role

We provide comprehensive payment, banking, credit, and business management tools to help enterprises succeed, and we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen our growing engineering team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain robust data pipelines capable of processing large volumes of complex data efficiently.
- Update and optimize our core data platform for maximum speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand evolving data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Develop automated processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance alongside data accuracy.
- Solve complex, general data-related problems to support enterprise-wide strategic decisions.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience as a Data Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL with strong database management and query optimization skills.
- Strong programming proficiency using Python for data engineering tasks.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and collaborative workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bonus experience includes data governance, machine learning deployment, and Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools.
