About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is a prolific organization that proffers HR and Management Consultancy solutions premised on excellence and innovation. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Security Operative to protect our client's hotel guests, employees, premises, and assets by maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment. The ideal candidate will be alert, disciplined, physically fit, and capable of maintaining professional conduct during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control entry and exit points, verifying the identity of visitors, contractors, and staff.
- Conduct regular and scheduled patrols of the hotel premises, car parks, and perimeter areas to detect security breaches or safety hazards.
- Monitor CCTV systems, report suspicious activities, and ensure surveillance equipment is handled properly.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, fire alerts, and assist with emergency evacuations.
- Enforce hotel security rules firmly, fairly, and professionally while safeguarding keys, access cards, and company assets.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear shift handovers with colleagues and management.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent; additional certifications in security or safety are an advantage.
- Previous experience in security, facility protection, hospitality, military, or law enforcement.
- Basic knowledge of emergency response, fire safety, access control, and incident reporting.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and conduct regular patrols.
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
