About the Role
Lohachy Farms Ltd is a leading integrated agro-allied company renowned for high-quality poultry, egg production, fishery, and agricultural distribution. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Broiler Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team and drive excellence in our poultry operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and supervise daily feeding, watering, and general care of the broiler birds to ensure optimal growth.
- Conduct regular health checks and closely coordinate treatment plans with the resident farm veterinarian.
- Implement industry best practices aimed at minimizing mortality rates and maximizing overall production efficiency.
- Assign daily operational duties to farm workers and actively monitor their performance on the field.
- Train junior staff on proper chick handling, strict feeding schedules, farm hygiene, and disease prevention techniques.
- Ensure workplace safety, high levels of discipline, and seamless collaboration among team members.
- Monitor feed, vaccine, and medication inventory levels to prevent shortages and wastage.
- Enforce strict farm biosecurity and hygiene protocols across all operational zones at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with established animal welfare standards and environmental regulations.
- Minimum of an HND in Animal Science, Animal Production, or Nutrition Technology.
- Practical hands-on job experience of 3 to 5 years in commercial broiler production within a reputable agricultural organization.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising farm workers.
- In-depth knowledge of poultry health, biosecurity measures, and modern feeding techniques.
