About the Role
The M & W Nuts Company is a leading cashew processing agri-business established in 2016, dedicated to adding value to Nigeria's raw cashew export and serving both domestic and international markets. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Merchandizer to join our growing team on the Island. In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our market presence by ensuring optimal product availability, flawless shelf presentation, and exceptional customer service across assigned retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular weekly visits to 5-7 assigned retail stores to ensure products are consistently available and attractively displayed.
- Implement visual merchandising standards to ensure products are properly arranged, faced, and tagged on shelves.
- Monitor inventory stock levels closely, identifying replenishment needs and promptly reporting out-of-stock products to management.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong, positive relationships with store managers, supervisors, and retail attendants.
- Support overall sales growth objectives through effective merchandising strategies and execution of promotional activities.
- Gather and share valuable market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
- Submit comprehensive weekly reports detailing store visits, stock conditions, and sales observations.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant discipline.
- At least 1 year of proven professional experience in merchandising or sales within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
- Must currently reside on the Island (Lagos) or in close, easily accessible proximity.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Good reporting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently meeting or exceeding assigned performance targets.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from N80,000 to N100,000.
