Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Operate advanced medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and hospital health and safety guidelines for patients and staff.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, answering questions, and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in compliance with hospital standards.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, doctors, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in routine maintenance and quality control checks for all radiological equipment.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent degree in Radiography from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must possess valid evidence of registration and a current practicing license with the appropriate professional regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of modern radiological equipment and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
