About the Role
Aggregon Foods Nigeria Limited is a fast-growing fast-food services company dedicated to providing quality and affordable meals to the general public. We offer a variety of both continental and local dishes, prepared by professional chefs under the highest hygienic conditions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Purchasing Officer to join our team at our Wuse Zone 7 branch in Abuja (FCT).
Key Responsibilities- Source and purchase high-quality food items, kitchen supplies, and packaging materials at optimal costs.
- Conduct regular market surveys and weekly market runs to identify the best prices and quality produce.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Entry Officer, Store Keeper, Business Administrator, and Business Development Manager to maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor inventory levels proactively to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Implement effective cost-control measures across all procurement activities.
- Prepare and submit timely purchasing reports and documentation.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Officer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local markets in Abuja and exceptional negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Physically fit and able to conduct regular, hands-on market runs.
- Prior experience in the fast food, restaurant, or hospitality industry is a distinct advantage.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a collaborative team player.
