Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor plastic pelletizing machines used in recycling and processing various plastic materials.
- Set up, adjust, and control machine parameters to ensure efficient production and consistent pellet quality.
- Oversee feeding, melting, extrusion, cooling, and cutting processes throughout the production cycle.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine faults, operational bottlenecks, and production irregularities promptly.
- Conduct routine machine inspections, regular cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Monitor production output against established quality benchmarks and maintain accurate operational logs.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and management of raw materials and finished plastic pellets.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures, environmental policies, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with production team members to achieve daily shift targets and output goals.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience operating pelletizing machines within a plastic recycling or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of plastic recycling, extrusion, and pellet production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Good understanding of production quality control standards and manufacturing safety protocols.
- Physically fit, highly attentive to detail, and capable of performing duties with minimal supervision.
- Relevant technical training, vocational certification, or trade test qualification will be an added advantage.
