Key Responsibilities- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all factory production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and execute prompt repairs on extrusion blown film machines and bag-cutting machines.
- Diagnose sudden equipment breakdowns and implement effective, long-lasting technical solutions.
- Inspect machine components regularly, identifying worn-out or faulty parts for timely repair or replacement.
- Conduct scheduled machine servicing, lubrication, adjustments, and safety checks.
- Support the installation, setup, and commissioning of new production equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate maintenance logs while reporting recurring mechanical issues.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to swiftly resolve equipment-related bottlenecks.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of workshop tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment.
- Adhere strictly to factory health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or relevant technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 4 to 6 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial setting.
- Demonstrated practical experience working with extrusion blown film machines and bag-cutting machines is strictly required.
- Prior working experience in a flexible packaging, polythene, or nylon manufacturing factory will be a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional aptitude for diagnosing mechanical faults, dismantling assemblies, and executing precise repairs.
