About the Role
Asamaka Industries Ltd is a leading engineering and technology company delivering specialized design and automation solutions to manufacturers across the automotive, waste management, agriculture, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria and help drive industrial innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Program all control-related devices, including PLCs and HMIs from major manufacturers such as Rockwell, Siemens, and Omron.
- Design, integrate, and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols like Modbus and Ethernet/IP, alongside complex safety circuits.
- Configure and maintain vision systems, barcode scanners, printers, and smart sensors including IO-Link devices.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical codes and design robust electrical circuits for diverse manufacturing environments.
- Travel nationally to client sites for system commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics and Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in controls engineering, industrial automation, or robotics.
- Mandatory COREN Certification and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) membership.
- Demonstrated expertise in programming PLC and HMI platforms with a strong understanding of control theory.
- Possession of a valid passport and willingness to travel nationally as required by project demands.
