We are currently looking for a motivated and analytical Inventory Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor stock levels and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments of commodity and specialty chemicals accurately into the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure seamless dispatch and last-mile delivery of products.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all stock movements, discrepancies, and adjustments.
- Assist in identifying inventory bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures for chemical handling and storage.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety protocols regarding chemical storage is an added advantage.
