About the Role
APM Terminals, a global leader in port operations and container terminal management, is looking for a skilled and driven Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure optimal stock availability, drive inventory accuracy, and support seamless procurement and replenishment activities to maintain operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze inventory data and review Material Requirement Planning (MRP) activities to support informed decision-making.
- Process and monitor stock transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Track purchased versus issued inventory and conduct high-value inventory reviews for replenishment planning.
- Lead inventory clean-up, cost-saving initiatives, and coordinate regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and perform goods receipt verifications.
- Minimum of an HND or BSc Degree in a relevant discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and computer applications for inventory tracking.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
