About the Role
Myrtle Management Consultants is seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive Human Resources generalist support across the entire employee lifecycle, driving organizational growth through effective talent acquisition, robust HR administration, and strict adherence to Nigerian labor laws. You will act as the crucial administrative link between deployed personnel, station heads, and leadership, fostering a positive and high-performance workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and mobilization of project and operational employees.
- Manage daily attendance registers, shift logs, and leave tracking to ensure accurate data for monthly payroll reconciliation.
- Monitor employee key performance indicators, identify competency gaps, and facilitate performance improvement plans.
- Enforce grievance resolution SLAs to maintain high employee morale and prevent industrial relations friction.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel documentation, and HR databases in compliance with company standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws, employment regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive HR reports, workforce statistics, and management analytics regularly.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within the Oil and Gas or manufacturing sectors.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in HR administration, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor and employment regulations.
- Experience managing offshore, project-based, or rotational workforces will be an added advantage.
