We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support the daily operations of a modern pharmacy. In this vital support role, you will help streamline non-clinical tasks, ensure a welcoming environment for patients, and contribute directly to efficient healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations, administrative duties, and routine workflow management.
- Welcome customers warmly, attend to general inquiries, and direct them appropriately for professional medication advice.
- Arrange, organize, and restock medications and healthcare products on shelves to maintain proper retail standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, check product expiry dates diligently, and report low stock or expired items to the pharmacist.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization throughout the pharmacy environment.
- Assist with regular stocktaking, inventory management, and accurate recordkeeping procedures.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC, OND, or an equivalent educational qualification from a recognized institution.
- Previous working experience in a pharmacy, hospital, or clinical healthcare facility will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of common healthcare products, retail pharmaceuticals, and standard pharmacy operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Basic computer literacy and proven ability to maintain accurate records.
