About the Role
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited is a prominent independent Nigerian energy firm operating within the dynamic oil and gas sector. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head Technical Security to govern, assure, and optimize our technical security and access control infrastructure. Based in Port Harcourt, this individual contributor role is vital in protecting our people, critical assets, operations, and information across challenging onshore, offshore, and export environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical security and access control function to ensure competent people, disciplined delivery, and regulatory compliance.
- Set and govern technical security strategies, standards, and technology roadmaps aligned with enterprise risk management.
- Deploy, integrate, and assure technical security controls across facilities, pipelines, and logistics routes.
- Manage security technology projects from concept design through to commissioning and transition-to-operate.
- Provide expert technical authority advice on security technologies, emerging threats, and lifecycle renewals.
- Govern vendors, contractors, and budgets to deliver compliant, cost-effective security services.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant industrial security experience within the oil and gas or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, ISPS Code, or equivalent technical security credentials.
- Deep expertise in access control, CCTV, surveillance, alarms, communications, and systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of HSSE management systems, VPSHR, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management.
