About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Operations to lead our operational strategy, supply chain, and inventory management performance in Nigeria. In this executive leadership role, you will oversee logistics, stock movement, distribution activities, and inventory planning while ensuring strict adherence to compliance, risk management, and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities- Lead overall operational strategy, performance, and cross-functional execution.
- Oversee logistics, stock movement, distribution activities, and logistics partner management.
- Provide direct leadership to the Inventory function, managing stock control, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy.
- Monitor and address slow-moving, excess, and ageing inventory to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Drive operational compliance, internal controls, and comprehensive risk management frameworks.
- Monitor boutique operational performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies and implement strategic improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing Operations and Inventory teams.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Retail, Procurement, and Sales departments to achieve business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory, or retail management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site or multi-location operational environments.
- Strong expertise in inventory control, logistics management, and operational governance.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP and advanced inventory management systems.
- Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, FMCG, or premium consumer goods sectors is highly desirable.
