About the Role

We are currently looking for a strategic and visionary Group General Manager - Business Process to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, this executive leadership role will oversee financial accounting, budgeting, reporting, financial control, audit coordination, systems integration, and team development to drive our continued growth and operational efficiency across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Establish, develop, and maintain robust financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting systems to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain essential policies, procedures, and practices required for effective financial control and compliance.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial reports, actively supporting departmental performance evaluation alongside executive management.
- Prepare official statutory and management reports, alongside monitoring working capital, investments, and project budget proposals.
- Coordinate all internal and external company audits in close collaboration with the Managing Director.
- Oversee the seamless integration of business software systems with the company's core accounting infrastructure.
- University Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related financial discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience within the shipping, oil and gas, or broader service industry.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, CIMA, or CTIN.
- Demonstrated personal attributes including high accountability, adaptability, achievement orientation, discipline, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.
