We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our growing team in Okota, Isolo, Lagos, reporting directly to the Manager and playing a vital role in maintaining our financial health.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and tracking all daily account transactions accurately.
- Auditing financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure compliance.
- Reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.
- Handling statutory filings including Tax, VAT, PAYEE, and Pension.
- Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Managing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and inventory accounts.
- Reporting and advising management on the company's financial health.
- Preparing comprehensive financial statements and compliance reports.
- BSc, HND, or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience working as an accountant.
- Strong hands-on experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting regulations, procedures, and Nigerian tax laws.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and high integrity.
- Must reside within Okota, Ago, Isolo, and immediate environs.
